Outreach
Christ Church is committed to reaching out into the wider community and the world by responding to human need. All of its members have been active in supporting various charities in our own country and around the world past and present through organizations such as World Vision, Christmas Shoebox, Habitat for Humanity, St. Monica’s Place for single moms, the Anglican Diocese of the Arctic and those recently suffering in countries affected by extreme climate. Personal donations to The Primates World Relief & Development Fund are channeled by the Anglican Church of
Canada to nations throughout the world requiring assistance following natural disasters. At times, a portion of the proceeds from concerts have been allocated for purchasing instruments for local schools and for world relief. In addition, Christ Church is committed to supporting regularly its local food and clothing banks through a number of drives held throughout the year such as our popular “Socks and Undies Program…
